The name is inpired by Elise Ottesen-Jensen (1886-1973), a Norwegian Swedish journalist and pioneer in sexual education. She fought a.i. against the ban on abortions and for contraceptive education. She was one of the founders of RSFU (The National Association for Sexual Education, wich is a non-profit organization for sexual education and sexual policy).
