The name is inspired by Stina Ehrensvärd who founded (together with her husband) the company Yubico with the vision to make Internet more secure. This lead to the making of their most famous product Yubikey which is a USB-key used to log on to the Internet, apps and websites. Yubico has 19 of the 20 biggest Internet companies in the world as customers and are, among other things, helping Apple to code new safety features. Stina has, without typical business training, made Yubico into a multibillion company and was named the international top manager of the year 2023.
